10:30 a.m. - Neighborhood Watch of the Year Sign Unveiling

Ventura Country Club, 3201 Woodgate Boulevard

Mayor Dyer will join District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz, Orlando Police Chief Eric D. Smith, and Neighborhood Watch leaders of the Ventura Country Club to recognize the Neighborhood Watch of the Year with an official sign unveiling. More than just a safety initiative, the Ventura Country Club Neighborhood Watch Group has fostered a strong sense of community, encouraging residents to take an active role in keeping their neighborhood safe through crime prevention and community-driven safety efforts.

11:30 a.m. - Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Ignite Recognition
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts - Steinmetz Hall, 445 South Magnolia Avenue

Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners and community leaders at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Ignite Luncheon, where important updates will be provided about the organization's new era and recognize successful Hispanic-owned companies with the Igniter of the Year Award.

2 p.m. - Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board Meeting
Carl T. Langford Board Room, One Jeff Fuqua Boulevard

Mayor Dyer will attend the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) board meeting.

6 p.m. - Fair Housing Series Kick Off
City Hall Rotunda, 400 South Orange Avenue

Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners to kick off “Welcome Home! Or Not? Understanding Fair Housing,” a three-week interactive series designed to educate residents on the fundamentals of housing discrimination and empower them to advocate for fair housing in their communities. Covering the basics of fair housing, the impact of discrimination, and residents’ rights and resources, this in-person workshop is open to renters, homeowners, landlords and anyone interested in promoting housing equity.

10:30 a.m. - Summer Youth Employment Kick Off

We Print, 1024 South Orange Blossom Trail

Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners to kick off the City of Orlando’s Summer Youth Employment Program. During the event, Mayor Dyer will work with a student in the program to create clothing apparel to showcase the involvement of businesses like We Print. The city partners with CareerSource Central Florida on this program, which provides high school students ages 15 to 19 with job experience, professional training and a paycheck – all at no cost to participating businesses. With more than 600 young residents expected to participate in the program, the city is seeking new business partners to help empower the next generation of professionals and leaders while making a lasting impact in the community.
