The City of Orlando rents horse stalls for recreational use.

How Much Does It Cost?

Boarding is an annual contract, billed at $300 a month. Water and basic feed are included, but owners are responsible for providing hay and any specialty feeds such as oats or grain.

Step 1.Determine your eligibility

Owners must agree to provide:

  • All health records for the the horse
  • Original negative Coggins test papers
  • Regular shoeing, worming and vaccinations
  • Any hay or specialty feeds, such as oats or grain

In addition, we strongly recommend getting equine insurance for any horse valued more than $5,000. 

Step 2.Fill out an application

If you have digital copies of your horse's health records, you can submit them at this time.

Step 3.Receive an update from parks staff

Staff members will reach out to you about your application status within two business days.

If the space is available and your application approved, they will also send you a contract.

Step 4.Complete contract and make first payment

Staff will give you payment instructions. An initial payment must be made to secure your stable space.
