Rosemont Neighborhood Center and Pool
Improvements
In mid 2021 the city opened the Rosemont Neighborhood Center Gym. This includes a 94-foot long, 50-foot wide, hardwood floor designed to accommodate NBA, WNBA, college and high school basketball games. It will also be able to simultaneously accommodate two 84-foot long by 50-foot wide high school basketball games. Restroom, locker room and storage areas are also included. The space may also be used for pickle ball, volleyball, fencing, tumbling, aerobics, job fairs and other events.
The new gym is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certified which means it’s a highly efficient and cost saving green building. There are solar panels on the roof to run the money saving LED lights and efficient air conditioning system.
