Do you own or operate a Mobile Food Truck within city limits?
A fire inspection is required to ensure compliance with the City’s Fire Department (OFD) safety regulations every six months.
Your application will provide food truck details and the licensing required to operate a food truck within city limits. Before applying, review the Food Truck Checklist to ensure you meet all necessary requirements.

Your application will be reviewed and followed up on by the OFD Fire Marshall Office within four (4) business days.
Before scheduling your fire inspection, you must apply for and receive your Business Tax Receipt (BTR). For detailed guidance on obtaining your Business Tax Receipt, including necessary forms and checklists, please visit the Business Tax Receipt Guide.
Get a BTR
Once you have your BTR, schedule your fire inspection with the OFD Fire Marshal Office. The inspections costs $25 and takes place at Station 1, OFD Headquarters.

The fire inspector will evaluate your truck for compliance with fire safety standards.
After passing the inspection, you'll receive a fire permit sticker noting the expiration date. Inspections are required every six (6) months.
