Get Fingerprinted by the Orlando Police Department

Step 1.Gather your materials

You will need the following: 

  • For Live Scan fingerprints, you will need the ORI Number of the organization who requested them. Please keep in mind that we do not currently fingerprint for the Florida Nursing Board, DCF, the Agency for Home Healthcare or the U.S. Office of Immigration.
  • For Ink fingerprints, you will need to bring a card from the organization who requested them. You can get up to 3 cards fingerprinted per appointment. For more than 3 cards, you will need to make multiple appointments.

Step 2.Schedule an appointment

We no longer provide walk-in fingerprinting. Appointments can be scheduled up to 14 days in advance and are available at these times and locations: 

Orlando Police Headquarters provides Live Scan and ink fingerprints.

Tuesday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Step 3.Come to your appointment

Please arrive on time. If you are late for your appointment you will need to reschedule. Your appointment will take about 30 minutes.

Step 4.Make a payment during your appointment

Live Scan prints are $25 per transaction. Ink fingerprints are $15 per card.
Orlando Police Headquarters only accepts credit cards, debit cards and money orders for payment.

Step 5.Receive your fingerprints

Live Scan fingerprints will be sent to FDLE on the same day. You will receive instructions from the fingerprint technician on how to complete your background check.

Ink fingerprints will be given to you immediately.
