Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Mayor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission are proud to announce the 6th Annual MLK Gospel Concert and Spiritual Spectacular that will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 7 p.m. in the Dr. Phillips Center Frontyard Festival.
Admission is free but registration is required.Registeratwww.orlando.gov/Events/MLK-Gospel-Concert.Guests are encouraged to bringnon-perishable food items, which will be collected upon entry. Donations will be distributed bySecond Harvest Food Bankto various community and school food pantries.
The Gospeland Spiritualspectacular is produced and directed by Grammy Award Winner, Dr. Jefferey Redding with Dr. Kelly Miller, Mr. Terrance Lane,Mr. Clay Price,and features the UCF University Singers, UCF Women’s Choir, Orlando Choral Society, Garden Choir, Voci del Cuore, the Aeolians from Oakwood University (video/streaming),Encore, Jones High School,St. Mark AME Choir, Tuskawilla United Methodist Church Choir, and more.
At this event, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commissioner will unveil the new Orlando Community Pledge video, featuring City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, standing together in unity and inviting the community to stand with them against racism and discrimination in all forms, by signing the Orlando Community Pledge atOrlando.gov/mlkpledge.

The Commission is a volunteer organization including business and community representatives appointed by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to raise funds and coordinate events that promote the celebration of Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, justice, freedom, peace and harmony for all races and cultures in Greater Orlando.
